Wingletang
Wingletang is a beautiful Grade 2 listed house located in the centre of Hugh Town, overlooking the park. Previously run as a guesthouse, the new owners have now completely refurbished the property, and redesigned the layout to include a new open plan kitchen/ dining area which opens onto the courtyard.

As the house sleeps up to 13 guests (and up to 2 infants in travel cots), it is ideally suited to large family gatherings or several families sharing.

Perfectly located for island hopping and all of the amenities of town, it is just a moments’ walk to Porthcressa beach.

The property also benefit from a downstairs ensuite king size bedroom.
​
Upstairs offers 2 more king ensuite bedrooms, one triple sleeper (with bunk beds & a single bed), one twin ensuite and one zip'n'link ensuite (which can be made up a super-king bed, or twin arrangement).

Please note that whilst we don't accept dogs in this property, the owners sometimes bring their own dog.

FULL DESCRIPTION
Wingletang is a beautiful Grade 2 listed granite Scillonian cottage in the centre of Hugh Town, St Mary’s, which was successfully run as a guest house for many years. Under new ownership, Wingletang has now undergone a full scheme of renovation.

Wingletang is ideally placed for all the amenities of the town, and for the quay to take trips to the other islands. The nearest beach is Porthcressa which is only 2 minutes’ walk away.

Downstairs comprises large open plan kitchen/diner with island, with a table to seat up to 12, with bi-fold doors opening up onto the private courtyard. There is a separate living room, downstairs ensuite bedroom, and a utility room and store.

The house sleeps up to 13 guests in 6 bedrooms, with room for a cot in Great Bay, Tean or Pelistry. all bedrooms named after local features of Scilly which you might recognise.
