Moorings, The Custom's House

Moorings is superbly located a short, flat walk to the many shops, restaurants and other amenities of Hugh Town, and just a few minutes’ more to the quay, where you can board day-tripper boats to the off-islands. However, the highlight of this property must be the large private courtyard garden, with glazed doors which open directly onto Town beach. Well furnished with quality furniture and deckchairs, Moorings courtyard is the perfect setting for evening barbeques and al fresco dining, whilst children play on the beach.

The sun lounge entrance offers ample leather sofa seating, Smart TV and unlimited free Wi-Fi. There is built in storage for coats and shoes, and Velux windows to open during the summer months. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob in the centre island which also doubles up as a breakfast bar, full size dishwasher, double oven and large integrated family fridge/ freezer. There is a Smart TV as well as a music system, and a large oak dining table with modern perspex chairs offers plenty of space for family meals and games.

The rear bedroom has the largest ensuite facilities with both a slide door shower and full size bath. The courtyard bedroom offers shower ensuite facilities and also benefits from French doors which open up onto the courtyard. The right hand bedroom has a large curved screen walk in shower ensuite, and all three bedrooms offer flexible super-king or twin bed arrangements, wall mounted smart TVs, and a hairdryer. There are heated towel rails in each of the bathrooms, and vertical wall-mounted central heating radiators throughout the apartment.

Moorings is strictly no smoking and does not allow pets. Travel cots, highchairs, bed guards and beach towels can all be hired locally on request.

Electricity, bed linen and bathroom towels are included in the weekly rental price.
