Clemy's Cottage

Clemy's Cottage is located at the end of Porthcressa beach, just a short walk to the amenities of Hugh Town, and St Mary's harbour where you can catch daily tripper boats to the off islands. Positioned in a quiet spot, it benefits from an enclosed back yard and outside tap, perfect for rinsing off wet suits and sandy toes after a day on the beach.

The ground floor of the cottage comprises kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The lounge is cosy with comfortable sofas, a log burner, wall mounted TV and Sky box. The large farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with fridge/ freezer, coffee maker and microwave, and is always lovely and warm due to the large electric Aga range. Through the kitchen is a spacious utility area with a washing machine and additional sink.

On the right, the ground floor bathroom offers a shower unit, bath and heated towel rail, and to the left is a stable door which open onto the private courtyard with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining.

Upstairs there are three sizable bedrooms, the master double, one bunk room and a twin room. All bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and benefit from their own wash basin, and a hairdryer is provided in the master room.

All bed linen, bathroom towels and electricity is included in the weekly rental cost. Baby cots/ highchairs and beach towels can be hired locally on request.
