10 The Strand

10 The Strand is located at the far end of Town Beach, near the lifeboat slip. It is only a short walk through the town to the harbour where you can catch daily tripper boats to the off islands or for wildlife trips.

Accessed from the street, the front door leads you into the hallway, with the lounge on your left. The front room is a cosy snug, with views out over the water, a TV, DVD player and internet access. The hallway leads through to the dining room, with a large dining table and two farmhouse dressers. The modern kitchen was recently upgraded and includes dishwasher, undercounter fridge, electric hob and oven.

The bathroom is at the back of the cottage, with a separate wc, shower unit and bath.

From the kitchen you can go out to the private courtyard which is a real suntrap in the morning hours, before the sun tips round to the front of the property, and eventually goes down over Samson. The yard leads through a garage, with washing machine and tumble dryer, and the door to the garage takes you into the back lane, which is generally quiet as there is no through access for cars.

Upstairs leads to two sizable bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the harbour and beach, and the second bedroom which can be split into twin beds if required, looks out over the rear courtyard.

All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the weekly rental price. Beach towels are available to hire on request. One or 2 small - medium dogs are allowed for an additional cleaning fee.
